History

1946 – San Wu Machinery Factory was founded in Changhua city for production of rice mills and rubber mixing mills.
1948 – San Wu Machinery Factory was renamed as San Wu Rubber Factory and changed production to compound rubber stocks.
1949 – Launched mass production of Flat belts.
1951 – Launched mass production of wrapped v-belts
1959 – Reorganized as a Limited Liability Co. and renamed as San Wu Rubber Mfg. Co., Ltd.
1967 – Factory moved from downtown Changhua to current location and textile conveyor belts were mass produced.
1969 – San Wu Textile Co., Ltd. was founded.
1974 – Introduced Raw-Edge V-belt manufacturing technology from Japan.
1983 – Camel Precision Co., Ltd. was founded.
1983 – San Wu is the first manufacturer in Taiwan to produce steel cord conveyor belts.
1985 – A joint venture (San Wu Bando Inc.) with Bando Chemical Industries Ltd. was founded in Taiwan to produce polyurethane power transmission belts.
1996 – San Wu celebrates 50 years in business.
1999 – Siempelkamp steel cord conveyor belt production line was set up.
1999 – Vietnam Factory was founded for production of wrapped V-belts.
2007 – Launched mass production in Second Conveyor Factory.
2011 – OHASA 18001 : 2007 Occupational Safety and Health Management System certificated by SGS.
2011 – CNS trademark of 「Steelcord Fabric Conveyor Belt」awarded.
2012 – Re-construct the mechanical workshop into a brand-new building in a purpose of the production for special rubber belts.
2013 – ISO / TS 16949 – 2009 Automotive Quality Control System certificated by SGS.
2013 – A new natural gas tubular hot coal boiler in a capacity of 500,000kcal/hr installed.
2014 – Sign a contract to set up a 46.8 kW solar power facility with Power Formation Ltd.
2015 – A new natural gas tubular hot coal boiler in a capacity of 800,000kcal/hr installed.
2015 – Parallel connection the solar photovoltaic power generation with Taiwan Power Company participatingin green energy and doing a social responsibility.
2016 – Sign a 「Manufacturing Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction Service Taskforce」consulting agreement with Taiwan Industrial Service Foundation.
2016– Launched a cloud monitoring to the power consumption and, meanwhile, the Energy Saving Management System is formally on line.
