The main difference between raw-edge cogged belts and laminated belts is the presence of cogs in the base rubber.

Raw edge laminated belts are designed to meet the demands of tough, high-power applications. San Wu designed these belts with multiple fabrics at the bottom to reduce noise, offering a similar effect to wrapped belts. Compared to wrapped belts, laminated belts perform better in terms of resistance to side pressure, dust and elongation.
